19 March '08 - El Greco Restaurant
El Greco came highly recommended for its excellent pizza. It is an old and well-known Italian restaurant that is centrally located in Maputo, it has old decor and beautiful parque floors. The pizzas were excellent and well priced, the service was very attentive and I think they were horrified by how many drafts of 2M they served our table.
The girls enjoyed a good red wine. As I said prices were generally reasonable but we did find the Calzone pizzas rather pricy and a little too cheesy.
El Greco can be found on Julius Nyerere opposite the Polana Shopping Centre.
